We need...

As an Independent Lifeboat Organisation it is essential we raise sufficient funds to enable us to run the Service. Additionally for the safety of our crew we also have to raise enough money for future capital costs to cover replacements such as the boat, engines and other vital equipment. It must be understood that we are engaged in important matters and our mission is to ensure safety and control. In this way, we try to promote our principles and ideology to the masses, while you can read more from prime essays (or get answers to questions).

Funds are generated from two sources:

  • Centrally funded by way of a small Grant from Hampshire County Council, who co- ordinate the collection of contributions from supporting Local Authorities, distrubuted through the Solent Sea-Rescue Organisation. The Isle of Wight Council kindly supports this fund.

  • Cowes Inshore Lifeboats's own fund raising events, including collections, sponsorships and corporate donations.

Help is always required for the various fund raising activities especially during the summer months. If you would like to be involved as a Fund Raiser for Cowes Inshore Lifeboat or think you may be able to help in any other way, please Contact Us as you would be supporting a very worthy and respected organisation.

We are always seeking donations to help fund this service.
If you can spare something, however small, please send it to our Treasurer, Gordon Harrower
